Ignatian Values
I am committed to living life, personally and professionally, completely for God. My purpose is to seek to glorify Him and to find Him in all things and in all people. All my actions must be directed from Him and directed back to Him, “For the greater glory of God” (ad majorem Dei gloriam, AMDG).

We are given gifts from God to glorify Him and to use for the good and edification of others. As I’ve walked with God and received direction and purpose, I have become a woman with a servant’s heart with concern and care for the dignity of the least of those, a concern for their wholeness in body, mind, and spirit (Cura Personalis).

God has called us all to be “Women & Men for and with others”, another Jesuit principle that I strongly identify with and live my life according to. To be for and with others requires an understanding of differences: cultural, ethnic, racial, gender, sexual, or global. To be for and with others challenges me to pursue and advocate for justice for the underserved, poor and/or marginalized. By following God, I have developed a faith in word and deed that seeks equity and justice and dignity for all; a faith that leads to action.

What follows is an artifact on privilege, oppression and the promotion of social justice through the exploration of xenophobia in America. It demonstrates that I possess the aforementioned values of St. Ignatius, which are vital ideals for serving in the promotion of social justice and equity as a Health and Wellness Coach.
