My Philosophy
My personal health and wellness coaching philosophy is what I have termed “holistic individualism”. I believe that each person is an individual with unique needs, values, and circumstances which contribute to their health status. I have a passion for helping people be their best selves and I believe for one to thrive, to achieve wholeness and well-being, there must be a balance between body, mind, and spirit.
My philosophy also includes my mantra, “I have to live it to give it.” I aim to model wellness. By applying the principles of healthy living, spirituality, and service to others, I’m blessed to be an example of my health strategies that have kept me feeling and functioning like someone twenty years my junior.

Through Lifestyle medicine, you too can live a “healthy on-purpose” life. Lifestyle medicine works…if you choose to work it. I’d love to show you how. In Creighton's Healthy Lifestyle Management Program, I have learned to utilize a variety of coaching methods to provide individualized service to clients. I partner with them to achieve their goals for behavior change and improve their well-being. I am a servant leader, designing my service around my personal core Christian values and moral standards of love, integrity, respect and unconditional positive regard. I am gifted in actively listening and communicating with empathy, thus motivating and empowering clients to strategize and implement steps to improve their own health throughout their life stages. I am adept at identifying and calling forth gifts and abilities in individuals, assisting them to leverage their strengths and to view limitations as opportunities for behavior change success.
